October 11, 2007I just got my hands on a 1987 mazda b2000 and I dont know how to start to slam it. I want to do it to where the chassis rests on the ground when parked, but I can raise it enough to drive with air bags. what do I need to do first and how much should I xpect to spend.
October 11, 2007well first you will need to cut two holes in the bed were your rear tires will come through then you will need to get rid of the front fender wells under the hood. then get rid of the shocks and springs and replace with air bags. then you will either need to get a air comp. or a well to store the air. and run air lines to all four air bags. im not sure of the price wich you will spend but im pretty sure it will cost a pretty penny.
October 12, 2007thanks for the help. another question: On airbagit.com I saw this bolt on 4 link for the rear. would something like this be a good investment or would it be better to just get the 4 link parts and build it myself with all the c notching and all
