March 29, 2007Have an '85 Ford Ranger in Seattle, regular cab. I want to make it into a convertible truck, but don't know who to go to for a kit, or where to have the work done on the truck for me.

April 1, 2007A good hot rod shop will know! I think you can use the latches from an old T bird. Its going to cost a lot though at a shop.I think the hard part is the weather stripping issues.Anyone got any details on that part?
April 16, 2007When I was thinking of doin the whole convertible thing on my ranger I was gonna put ragtop over the roof and have it over lap ever so slightly and use it as a means of weatherstripping. As you can see I ended up not doing this so I am not real sure how it wouldve worked. But I have seen it done and the covered top looks good as well.
