July 24, 2006I have a bagged I-beam Ranger (97 Mazda) and am wearing out the inner side of my tires. I figure i need an alignment but when i call around they say that they can only correct toe. I heard rumors of an adjustable bushing. Is there such a beast? If so can some one get me a link?

December 21, 2006Kind of a late post! There are adjustable bushings out there. Also if you get the toe adjusted that will take alot of your wear out. When I was a little punk running a mazda with no suspension and huge negative camber i used a couple of laser levels and a clean garge wall to set my toe and it cut my tire use by way more than half. I ran my tires for almost a year after doing so.
December 21, 2006Thanks a lot man. Do u know where i can find the bushings?
March 19, 2007try ingallseng that's where i got mine...i have dropped beams and springs in the front six total static drop with perfect alignment and could still go lower...planning to bag it...any suggestions on keeping the power steering from binding or any thing
March 28, 2007I have had no problem with my power steering. I was even able to keep my AC, that is until i by 20s.
April 16, 2007About the power steering rod rubbing your frame, I notched a small section out of the frame there and used 2 1/2" pipe cut in half and welded it back up and no longer had the problem and I was laying frame with the front tires on 2X4's. Thats really the only way I know to get around it.
