June 7, 2005Any of you S-10 GURUS out there know why my passenger floor is always wet it comes and goes I'm thinking it's condensation from the A.C some how needed someones advice before I pull out the interior so I could fix it why'll everything was out.
June 13, 2005It might be your AC evaporator......Sometimes they mount them under the dash on the pass side. It looks like a small radiator.
June 14, 2005hey thanks I was thinking somthing along those lines as well I'll check it out.
July 6, 2005there should be a drain hose under the dash, so make sure it's still there or that it doesn't have a crack or hole in it.mike
September 23, 2005I have the same problem....................it's my heater core leakin'...Not enough to see a puddle, but when I did my rocker panels...I noticed theunder-carpet insulation was soaked with anti-freeze.....check it,that may be it......
October 13, 2005HHEEaaater corrreee...!!!!!!!!!!1
stupid things....but that would be my guess
October 13, 2005ya its the heater core. its behind the firewall so you cant get to it from under the hood. and its behind the dash so you got remove the right right side bolts to get enough room to get it outs, the day after i bought this truck i got home from the store and had a pond yes POND of green antifrezze in my truck. i called my friends he told me what it was so i went and got the heatercore it was only like 20 bucks at autozone with a lifetime warranty.
1. Drain the radator,
2. start removing the bolts that hold the dash on the passenger side,(this is so you can get the heatercoreout)
3. Remove the heatercore from dash(first your will have to undo 2 hose clamps under the hood, youll see the 2 hoses coming out of the fire wall near the A/C.
4. Reinstall the heatercore and all dash bolts, and connect the hoses to the new heatercore, refill radator fluid and your done.
Hope this helped if you need anymore info i got pic if you wanta see them. peace
