September 7, 2006i might be buyin a 92 ranger reg cab but i dont no much about ranger suspension. what do you need to lower them?
September 8, 2006Depends on how much you want to lower it. Generally to drop an older Ranger you will need dropped I-beams and dropped coils in the front and a flip kit and possibly drop blocks(won't work without the flip kit) in the rear. A lot of people will use a dropped lower transmission crossmember and a radius arm relocator to gain some clearance on extreme drops and are a necessity if you plan on bagging the truck. And as stated above the caster/camber shims and dropped shocks will definately help as well. Basically out of all the mini's out there, the Ranger is the hardest and most expensive suspension to work on!!
