April 15, 2005hi, i own an 84 mazda b2000. its been running ****ty, but it has been running. its been idleing bad and it ran out of gas before i knew it. so i filled it up and it almost has a half tank of gas in it, that definately should be enough. then i tried it and it still wont start. i checked the wires from the distributor, and they are sparking, i plugged in the wires to the spark plugs, and they provide a spark. so i put them back into the cylinders, and i tried starting it, and it still wouldnt start. theres **** and grime all over the plugs so i know oil and gas is getting to them, but for some reason it will turn over, but just not start, no fireing, no nothin. somebody please tell me what i should do, thanks. also its been having carburator problems, but still, i need it to at least start to adjust those problems. thanks again.

May 31, 2005change your plugs...should give u enough time to start up your vehicle, and if it still doesn't work some thing may be leaking oil in your cylinders, so you might want to start setting money back for a new engine if ur plugs foul out again.
June 15, 2005this sounds like a bad head gasket or a bent exhaust valve if your car starts smoking when you first start it up in the morning check your valves and gasket but yeah if the plugs are good check the fuel pump and fuel filter worst case scenario is you have a cracked block
July 1, 2006man i have the same truck. one thing u need to put new plugs in the trck so it will get the right fire it needs to spark. sencond u need to take the fuel line off the carb and get someone to turn it over to make sure the fuel pump is pumpin. if it isn't then it is easy to get to. it is located at the top left of the motor. and look in to gettin your head redone. it sounds like you have bad valve guide seals and they need to be rep;aced to stop the oil from filling out your plugs.
July 4, 2006ya man sounds liek a fuel pump.. mine went and it did the same thing.. check your relay under teh hood.. and check your pump.. you might be able to hear yours when you sweithch your truck to accesory..
