February 7, 2005Has any one found a decent after market brake rotor and caliper for a 93 Mazda B2200? I want to keep ot 6 lug. Getting more power soon so need to be able to stop. Cheers
February 7, 2005If you have 16" or larger wheels you could use the disc's off of a 99+ GM 1/2 ton and an aftermarket booster. If you wanted to get crazy, you could get a rear end from the same truck and have it narrowed to have 4 wheel discs, you'd need a bias controller then. If you do the front discs, think about taking them to a machine shop and having them drilled and slotted.
February 7, 2005You can get slotted rotors for your truck.. Theres an online store that sells them..I have them on my 2600i. They work really good. I noticed better braking just from bolting them on. I forget the name of the place but I'll try and find it again and post the name. I think they were about $100 for the pair.
February 9, 2005Keep looking bro, any help would be great. Does anyone else have problems with their brakes over heating when thrashing around twisty roads?
February 9, 2005Try Power Slot, they make sloted rotors, may have them for your ride!
February 9, 2005www.raceshopper.com They have slotted rotors for mazda pickups. I have them on my 2600i.
February 11, 2005Oh just bite the bullet and just swap them out with one of the 4 or 6 piston conversions from SSBC(Stainless Steel Brake Corp), that'll only set you back a couple of thousand!!
February 11, 2005I'll hit the brakes and the body will leave the chassis. Ha. I'll save the thousands and put it into an engine.
November 22, 2011I recently bought an 08` Yukon SLT 4x4 and am looking to do some mods. I am going to be getting 24`` wheels and doing a 2/3 drop. With the additional weight of the rims i want to upgrade the brake rotors and braking system. I want this truck to stop on a dime. I am willing to spend 2500 max on it. Whats the best set up that i can get for this price range?
Also, where would be the best place to order from?
